This summer will be busy! We will be hosting a Drexel STAR student (Sam Simon) as well as three undergraduates from other Colleges (Hannah Graham, Angele Oye-Mba, and Remi Rosenthal) and a K-12 teacher (Judith Odom) supported by our NSF CAREER Grant. Welcome!
Mariia Tertyshnaia has graduated from Drexel’s College of Arts and Sciences. She completed her Honors Thesis in the lab and was recognized for her outstanding academic record with the prestigious Mary K. Howett Memorial Scholarship. She will be pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics at the University of Iowa in the fall. We will miss her in the lab!

Dejenae won the top prize in the environmental biology division at the 21st Annual Philadelphia AMP Research Conference hosted by the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation.
Our urban house mouse project is underway in the Philadelphia, PA and New York City, NY areas. We are looking for community participants to let us trap house mice in these cities and in rural areas outside the city. For Philadelphia, rural areas include parts of Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery Counties and for NYC, rural areas in Orange Co., Dutchess Co., as well as other areas around those counties and in northern New Jersey.
